many people ride bikes around dubai and mopeds. i would be really afraid to.
i was scared to even cross the road and had to run for my life more than a couple of times. i would tend to try and cross with the locals. 50% of the population in dubai is from pakistan, bangladesh or india. i was told that the arab population, (identifiable - by their white robes and red/white chequered head gear are rich and profit from the migrant population.
